VMWare ESX 3.5 and HP SIM WBEM

I have HP ESX server 3.5 and i installed HP SIM agent 8.1.0 on this. I need to monitor hardware for this HP server using WBEM and i am able to do this using namespace root/cimv2 but when i query for HP_FAN under root/hpq namespace then its fail as root/hpq namespace is not available.
I need to use root/hpq namespace to monitor the hardware on this server. Could someone please help me in this regard as why root/hpq namespace is not available even after installing HP SIM agent?

Re: VMWare ESX 3.5 and HP SIM WBEM

Hello,
as I know WBEM is supported only on RH5.x 64bit systems or similar, which is not case of ESX 3.5. Why don't you use "classic" snmp way of monitoring. It works ok with olded 3.5 as well with 4.0 .
