QoS for MS Teams
Greetings,
We are looking to make configuration changes to improve users' experience with MS Teams. At the switch level, there are QoS settings that need to be entered:
qos udp-port ipv4 range 50000 50019 dscp ef (Telephony)
qos tcp-port ipv4 range 50000 50019 dscp ef (Telephony)
qos udp-port ipv4 range 50020 50039 dscp af41 (Multimedia Conferencing)
qos tcp-port ipv4 range 50020 50039 dscp af41 (Multimedia Conferencing)
qos udp-port ipv4 range 50040 50059 dscp af21 (Low-Latency Data)
qos tcp-port ipv4 range 50040 50059 dscp af21 (Low-Latency Data)
The question I have is whether or not these settings need to be applied ONLY to the switch acting as our gateway (it's tied to our firewall), or if I need to apply the settings to all the swtiches (all ProCurve) that users are tied to in our network? The config changes are easy enough to apply but I am hoping someone can tell me if I need to apply to one or all of our devices. Cheers!
