PCM+ V4 software switch image button

We have purchased PCM 4 and I am awaiting our licence. should i be able to do switch firmware updates without the license (60 day trial) as the software image import option within prefrences doesnt do anything. right clicking it shows "view" but this is greyed out.

 

 

am i doing somthing daft as i thought i would go into prefrences\ software \switch image firmware and import the firmwares i would like to use then go to the switch and right click and do a software upgrade. as at the monet this cannot be done as the image cannot be found ( because i cant get the import button to work)

 

 

help please :)
