Hello,
I can't seem to get a ping response from our Nanobeam connected to an HP Procurve 2920 for a PTP connection.
A snippet of the config file:
J9729A_LR(config)# sh config Startup configuration: 45 ; J9729A Configuration Editor; Created on release #WB.15.12.0015 ; Ver #05:18.41.ff.35.0d:9b hostname "J9729A_LR" module 1 type j9729a trunk 47 trk1 trunk no telnet-server ip default-gateway 172.16.1.1 interface 23 name "LR2ISR" exit interface 47 flow-control name "TRUNK_1" exit interface 48 name " " exit snmp-server community "public" unrestricted oobm ip address dhcp-bootp exit vlan 1 name "MANAGEMENT" no untagged 1-22 untagged 24-46,48,A1-A2,B1-B2 tagged 23,Trk1 ip address 172.16.1.23 255.255.255.0 exit vlan 16 name "LR2ISR" tagged 23,Trk1 no ip address exit spanning-tree spanning-tree Trk1 priority 4 no tftp server no autorun no dhcp config-file-update no dhcp image-file-update password manager password operator
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Regards,

Re: HP 2920 + Ubiquiti Nanobeam
What port is the "Nanobeam" patched to? What is its config? Its IP address? What are you pinging it from?
What is "LR2ISR"? FW/Router?

Re: HP 2920 + Ubiquiti Nanobeam
Hello Vince,
Thanks for asking.
The Nanobeam is connected to port 23 under VLAN 16.
From our office, we configured the both antennas and perfectly worked fine on an unmanaged switch. We assumed somehow that it will work the same on a managed switch. Other PCs connected to the same switch are perfectly fine. We, also, send a ping from the switch's CLI to the antenna but to no avail.
Did I miss invoking something on the config?

Re: HP 2920 + Ubiquiti Nanobeam
At first sight, it looks like port 23 has both vlan1 and vlan16 tagged to Ubiquity. Is that intentional?

Re: HP 2920 + Ubiquiti Nanobeam
Hello 16again,
Yes, as per the last configuration during field testing. Should it be removed?

Re: HP 2920 + Ubiquiti Nanobeam
As stated AP was pingable when connected to an unmanaged switch, so management VLAN should most likely be untagged.
