A team could not be created - team creation failed

I have a new DL360 G4p which I installed Windows 2003 Server on with the 7.40 SmartStart CD. All my drivers are up thus up to date. When I try to team the NICs, I get this error. Nothing in the logs.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tim

Re: A team could not be created - team creation failed

Tim,
A SmartStart-cd is a snapshot.
7.40 is dated Sep 09 2005, lots of drivers have changed since that date.
For a DL360 G4p you can find them at :http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/family/model/6011.html?submit.y=7&submit.x=9〈=en&cc=us
You should alse check it's known issues : http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/smartstartinfo.html
You should also check the firmware for which you can download an iso at : http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24048.html
This firmware-cd does offer a lot, but it was published on Dec 20 2005 which means it may not contain all available firmware.

Re: A team could not be created - team creation failed

One would think the CD which came with the server, and was the latest CD, would have drivers which worked on it. I downloaded the newer drivers and all works fine. Thanks for your help.
