ACU did not detect any supported controllers in your system
Got 2 HP Proliants ML350 G4p
Both got a HP 64/133 PCI-x-2CH Ultra320 HBA
For the first I can configure RAID, for the second I can't. Anybody any idea?
TIA,
Gerard van Dorth

Re: ACU did not detect any supported controllers in your system
Hi Van Dorth,
The ML350 G4p comes by default with the HP 64/133 PCI-x-2CH Ultra320 HBA, but this card does not support Raid.
For Raid support Smart Array 641 controller is recommended. Check the quick specs below.
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12199_div/12199_div.html
I feel one of the server has a Smary Array controller and is detected in ACU and in the other there is no Smary Array controller.
Regards,
Raj.

Re: ACU did not detect any supported controllers in your system
Hello Van Dorth, SCSI controller can't support RAID configurations, ACU will not work on SCSI controllers, that's the reason why you can't do what you are trying to do.
