Boot Problems
I have a Proliant 3000 and I can't get the system to boot from the a drive
or cd rom. The only way I can get it to search is to set the maintenance
switch on. It will then boot to the smart setup cd. But it will not load
because the switch is on and tells me to turn it off. When I do that it will
not look for the a drive or the cd rom. The system nolonger has a setup
partition. Is there something that I'm missing.
Thanks...

Re: Boot Problems
Are there any POST Errors on initial boot? Was there a setup partition originally? What System ROM your Proliant 3000 is at this time? Was there any ROM flashes applied? When was devices noticeable as being inoperable? Check IDE cables & power connectors to devices.
