DL160 g6 embedded sata ports 5 and 6

I'm trying to connect a sata drive into ports 5 or 6 embedded in the mainboard but it seems that this ports are form dvd-cd rom only, Can somebody confirm this? I try to install windows server but it says that can't format the drive.

Hi,

SATA 5/SATA 6 connector is for Optical disc drive.  System Board Designator J57, J58.

Refer to HP ProLiant DL160 G6 Server Maintenance and Service Guide, Page# 40 onwards.
