DL180 & ACU & LUNs

I need to make LUNs on my DL180 G5 before I install my OS (win2k3), but to make LUNs I need ACU, for ACU I need OS installed :(

How I do it on DL350 8*500Gb SATA disks
1. SmartStart
2. inside SmartStart make SATA array RAID5 8*500Gb
3. inside SmartStart make LUNs - 4 LUNs - 50Gb, 1Tb, 1Tb, 1.3Tb
4. Install Windows 2003 on first LUN
5. Inside Windows make dinamic disks from last 3 LUNs and Spann them

With DL180 I cant make LUNS so I make only 1 LUN on 3Tb and Windows see only 2Tb from them :(

How I can do it?

btw SmartStart CD not work with DL180 so I cant use ACU from it :(

yes you are right 100 Series do not support SmartStart CD

I don't which controller you are using but when server POST the controller which shows up and you must press F8 to configure your RAID level

I know it.
But builtin utility can create only full disks LUN so minimal capacity is 500Gb on raid 0. But I need LUN only 50Gb to make system disk, all other 450Gb is lost for me, becouse I cant span them to other disks, And raid 0 is bad idea for storage server.

I make what I need, but with wrong method. - I connect SATA disk to mother board (not RAID controller, becouse no power cord for SATA on this server I take power from other computer), I install os on this disk, then install ACU on this disk, after that from ACU I make Array and LUN what I need. Disconnect this disk. Install OS on array.

But I think it is bad way.

I don't know If I am wrong you create your RAID 5 and after that you use windows partition he built-in one and create a 50 GB partition installation

yes right but w2k3 cant use disk more then 2Tb

it is only 1 way - to create dinamic disks and span them

yes after I wrote that I remembered the Windows 2TB limitation

Or may be some one create Live CD with ACU for DL180? where I can get it?

I know about Hiren Boot CD, PE-Builder, InfraCD and other bootable staff, but may be HP or some one is doing LiveCD and I can download it? Becouse no time to create it.
