DL360 G4 ghost raid 0 drives
Okay, I am trying to use ghost to make a backup of my boot disc. So, I was able to do a network backup, but I really want to be able to do a disc to disc transfer. So, since this is not working, I assume I need to get a DOS driver for the 6i raid controller.
Where can I find a DOS driver? I assume once I get this, and build my ghost disc with this, I should be able to make a backup in my DL360 raid 0 going disc to disc?
Thanks
Dave

Re: DL360 G4 ghost raid 0 drives
Simplest thing is to connect the drive to the onboard SCSI from the RAID controller. That way no drivers are needed. In your case with a Hot Plug cage, simple move the cable connecting to the RAID port, to the SCSI Port.

Re: DL360 G4 ghost raid 0 drives
How do I do this? I do not see any scsi connector? All I see is the hot swap scsi backplane connect directly to a PC board, which I assume is the raid controller. So, there is no cable that I see to remove, and no scsi connector that I see to connect to.
So yes, I would love to bypass the raid controller since I do not need it.
