DL360 G5 -- 1 Dual core
I have one DL360 G5 server, the box is having only 1 dual core processor. How much maximum RAM i can install in this box for a better performance?
From the hardware specs, i can see that DL360 G5 supports up to 32GB RAM, but since i have only one processor, how much RAM a processor can address ?
If i take 16GB RAM, and one dual core processor in DL360 G5, is performance will be effected ?

Re: DL360 G5 -- 1 Dual core
Hi,
This machine can have upto 64 GB of Memory. How many processors/Memory you need depends on what purpose this machine would serve.
As per my opinion you should be able to run this machine on 1 Dual core Proc and 32 gb of RAM.
Regards,
Cookie
