Re: DL380 G3 STOP tcpip.sys Blue Screen
I having the same problem in a DL580-G2.
I have change the mother board and two times the network card, and the problem is the same.
(BugCheck, STOP: 0x000000D1
(0x31327972, 0x00000002,
0x00000000, 0xBFB57285))
in tcpip.sys.
The ethernet switches are Cisco 6500, and SupportPack from HP is 6.30a.
I'm using SP3 with some pre-SP4 fixes to W2K.
Do you have any new about this problem?
I simple question, do you use a Backup from CA - ARC Server, BrightStor, etc..?

Re: DL380 G3 STOP tcpip.sys Blue Screen
I'm having exact the same problem with two DL360 G3 servers. I already reinstalled the servers without smartstart, but it didn't solve it. The servers are installed with SP3. Is there any more news about this problem?

Re: DL380 G3 STOP tcpip.sys Blue Screen
I have check that problems was processors, because when I put the old processors the problem appear again.
I don't know the root cause, but I have seen that MS Windows dump can confuse a lot our investigations.

Re: DL380 G3 STOP tcpip.sys Blue Screen
The machines were run without smart start initially and this was only installed along with Insight manager some time after the problems started (we thought we may have a temperature problem and wanted to monitor the CPS and system temps). I have installed W2k SP4 but problem persists.
Only recent changes are the replacement of old 3COM 10/100 hubs with 3COM 100Meg Switches.
Any ideas greatefully received.
Thanks.

Re: DL380 G3 STOP tcpip.sys Blue Screen
Are you using IM? If so, try removing the agents - obviously you will not get the remote system info, but unexpected restarts and BSOD seem to go away!
