DL385G2 Solaris 10
Hi,
We currently installed a new machine with Solaris 10. I've installed the required agent to be able to monitor the host.
I would like to cfg the system that in case of hardware failure I receive an automatic notification via email. I've read all the available documentation but I didn't find anything usefull.
Could someone succeed to do such a setup?
Thx.

Hi
You can use HP System Insight manager to email all hardware based problems.

Re: DL385G2 Solaris 10
Hi,
If I understand correctly your advise, I've to install SIM on a separate workstation and cfg the ILO on my server to redirect all SNMP traps to that SIM host?
I did try this scenario but I personally think that it is way too much a monster for the simple event notifications I need. I've seen that on Windows servers there is a small utility that just perform this. Is there no equivalent for Solaris?
Thx.
