Dl320 Proliant Blue Screen on Boot
I have a Win2k OS running on a DL320 under NT domain. Due to UPS problems, it was shutdown unexpectedly. Now, upon boot, it crashes to an unreadable blue screen. I am able to put in in safe mode with networking but cannot figure out even what the error is. This seems to be a DL320 issue as the same thing has happened before with another 320 we have. Has anyone experienced this as well? I know the drives are fine sine I rebuilt the other 320 from scratch and have been using it with no problems since.

You could revised dump file?
Also you can boot with W2K CD and repair it.

Re: Dl320 Proliant Blue Screen on Boot
I managed to pause the blue screen in time before it got corrupted. The error is: unexpedcted_kernel_mode_trap x07F. Microsoft knowledge base said it could be either a problem with memory, hardware, or software (Thanks for narrowing it down Bill!) but I have not installed anything new, so im thinking its the memory dump from an unexpected shutdown that is causing the problem. You agree?

Hi Craig,
Have a look at the following Customer Advisory.

I hope this helps.
