Formatting an array after configuration
I have a DL380 G3, turned on duplexing, setup 2 arrays - A1 contains 2, 36Gb HDs running RAID 0+1; A2 contains 3, 36Gb HDs running RAID 5. Installed Win2K Server on A1, however after setup, etc., A2 is not listed under My Computer.
Any suggestions on what to do? I don't see anything within ACU or ORCA that will let me initialize the array or format the drive (array).

Re: Formatting an array after configuration
It is a SmartArray 5i and I have not updated the firmware. Since the posting, I entered ORCA, deleted the array, let ORCA re-create the array. This seemed to work, until I realized that it was hung. Another reboot and then Win2K recognized a drive there. I then had to go into Disk Management and assign a signature to it prior to formatting. It all works now.
Thanks!!! :)
Thanks!!! :)
