Frequent BSOD on DL120
Hi,
I am sure this has been answered before but I cannot find it!
We have a brand new DL120 G6 with Windows 2008 Server installed. The server is fully patched and updated but we are getting BSOD at least daily.
The mini-bug give the error WHEA_ERROR_RECORD.
Any ideas?
D.

Re: Frequent BSOD on DL120
According to this link (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff560483%28VS.85%29.aspx) it might be a hardware problem.
Could you upload the DUMP somewhere? Any other errors in the eventlog?

Re: Frequent BSOD on DL120
Hello,
thanks for your reply. Oddly enough there is nothing in the event log.
The bug check shows:
WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)
A fatal hardware error has occurred. Parameter 1 identifies the type of error
source that reported the error. Parameter 2 holds the address of the
WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure that describes the error conditon.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, Machine Check Exception
Arg2: fffffa8006518030, Address of the WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure.
Arg3: 00000000be000000, High order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.
Arg4: 0000000000800400, Low order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.
Thank you
D.
