HP DL380 G3 HBA card may be used in a DL380 G4 server?
Experts!
DL380 G4 HBA card is with slow speed, and not compatible with network switch in the DC. But I have a spare DL380 G3 server, and want to replace HBA card with DL380 G4.
Can I use DL380 G3 HBA card in DL380 G4 server?
Appreciate Responses.

Re: HP DL380 G3 HBA card may be used in a DL380 G4 server?
Without knowing the exact model HBA card you are trying to move between servers, it would be hard to say whether it will work or not. BUT, from my experience, almost all of the HBA cards that are supported on the DL380 G3 work on the DL380 G4 server as well. The PCI bus is the same concept in both.
