HP DL380 G4 CPQHLTH-MIB
Hi Guys.
I really hope someone can help me. I have been monitoring my servers with SNMP and on the CPQHLTH-MIB i am getting a 4 which is a fail.
If i run snmpwalk -v1 -c public IP ADDRESS HERE .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.1.3.0
Then i get SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.6.1.3.0 = INTEGER: 4
Now INTEGER: 4 in the Global Status is a fail.
But what has failed? , how can i find out? I have had a look in the HP Insight Diagnostics but cant see anything that has failed. I have even updated the server with the latest support pack.
Can anyone help me work this out
Thanks in adavnce

Re: HP DL380 G4 CPQHLTH-MIB
hi
are those windows systems?
if so
have you checked event viewer?
also check Integrated management log for both linux/windows?
just in case this might be helpful

Re: HP DL380 G4 CPQHLTH-MIB
This is related to the Management Agents installed on the server.
Upgrade the latest Proliant Support Pack and that should take care of the issue. As it will install / reinstall the latest management agents.
