HP IP console switch
Dear All,
I had newly installed HP IP console switch G2 with virtual media (AF621A) connected to DL360 G7 eight numbers.
These dl360g7 does not have ps/2 and as well as the ip switch also does not have ps/2 ports. After installing i can connect to each server and get the remote screen but key board and mouse r not working. Pls let me know any configruation part i need to do it in switch. If i connect directly to the server the kbd amd mouse they r working fine.
Note: All the connections r only usb.
Thanks in advance
Battar Phani

Re: HP IP console switch
A very quick browse in the Community home and this would seem to be more at home in the Servers or possibly Networking groups.

Re: HP IP console switch
I think you need AF603A - upgrade :-(

you may need to upgrade the end connectors, sounds like you have the older type - 262587-B21

Re: HP IP console switch
If you review the Quickspecs for the G2 IP KVM you will see a diagram for the USB / Video dongle you need. Part number is "USB Virtual Media, CAC Interface Adapter (PN: AF623A)"
