HP Turbo Z Drive on ProLaint ML350
Hello,
I know the title makes the die-hard ProLiant enthousiast shiver, but I wanted to know if somebody tried to put a HP Z Turbo Drive (256 or 512GB) into a ProLiant server?
The reason i'm asking is because I looked at different option for SSD (pci of sata) for my server but ended up with a bit of high cost on those drives. Especially HP SSD pricing are out of this world....
I want to run 2 vm's on Hyper-V which are situated on a fast drive. So PCI SSD first came to mind.
I know a lot of you would say I shouldn't do it, but I just want to know if I have any change of getting this to work before I spend € 400,- on such hardware.
Thanks for the response!
