HPE Smart Storage Administrator (HPE SSA) Update

Currently running Version:2.30.6.0 of HPE SSA on a DL20 server. I see an update, but it's only meant to be executed on a Windows platform. Is there a Linux version of the update or can it be updated from iLO4 console?

Thanks

Re: HPE Smart Storage Administrator (HPE SSA) Update

Take a look at the HPE Software Delivery Repository  http://downloads.linux.hpe.com/ .  The SPP and firmware files are there for Linux (check the MCP for Debian based distributions and some of the other community distributions).  If you use the add_repo.sh script you can then use the native linux tools to add software, driver, and firmware updates. For VMware look at the vibsdepot information on the main SDR page

*Some firmware files require a valid warranty or support contract. There are instructions on the SDR under fwpp on how to create an authorization token to access restricted files.
