How noisy/quiet is the ML150 G2?

I know it's a very subjective thing, but I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on the operating noise of the ML150 G2 (with SATA RAID)...

In short - can it be placed in an open-plan office, or will it irritate everybody nearby?

How does it compare to, say, a dc7100 desktop (whisper-quiet), or an ML310 (bearably noisy), or an ML350 (mini-hoover)...

I find it to be just slightly louder than a standard desktop. In an open space you won't even know it's there. Mine has 6 drives(scsi which are louder than IDE)in it and puts out minimal heat. Very nice machine.

Thanks very much for the feedback - it's been extremely helpful to hear that the noise it generates in an open plan office won't be noticeable...!
