How to reset the power-on password?

Hi I had an HP/COMPAQ dl 380 g3 server that I bought a week ago. I started to set the power-on password and adminstrator password in the bios without first installing the operating system. When I entered the power-on password after rebooting, it is saying that I entered invalid password? I don't know if the adminstrator password I have entered would cause another problem. How could I get away with this problem? God help me please.

This can probably be done with a dipswitch op the mailboard. Check the inside of the server cover for further info.
