Improved SysAdmin Methods...

There seems to be some discussion regarding the lack of a quality sysadmin service on the NeoServer. Unlike other NOS, there appears to be a fully functional Unix OS available somewhere beneath and presumeably Compaq have a way of directly accessing this layer. I appreciate that the intention is not to bully novice users with a complicated management interface, but for users with suitable experience, it is very frustrating dealing with such a limited interface.

Is anyone aware of any appropriate, secure methods of gaining Shell access so I can manage our system properly.

The operating system is pretty bulletproof from the console. This was designed as an appliance - not a general purpose server.
