Installing Windows 2000 on a non LUN 0 device

I am installing Win2k server on a ProLiant ML350 booting from a VA7410. I have configured the HBA to use the first non LUN 0 device as its' boot disk. However, when I get to the part of setup where you choose where to install the O/S, it recognizes the LUNs I have prepared for the server, but I get the following message: "The hard disk containing the partition or free space you chose has a LUN greater than 0. Therefore, your computer's startup program cannot gain access to the disk. Setup cannot install Windows on this disk." I have setup up numerous machines in the same way. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be?

Did you enable the BIOS on the HBA?

Well, it appears there is a bug in the Windows 2000 Server w/Service Pack 3 CD. When we used the Win2k w/SP 2 CD, it loads with no problems. Then I can go to SP 3 and 4. Weird, huh?
