Keyboard problems with DL580 G2

We have just built a DL580 G2 with W2K Advanced Server. The problem we are experiencing is intermitent keyboard problems upon reboots and/or power cycles. We have 4 1400Mhz CPU's, 2 gig of ram, slots 1 and 2 have Adaptec 39160 SCSI controllers which are connected to an ADIC Scalar 100 with 4 IBM Ultrium LTO tape drives. The Adaptec cards are at firmware level 3.10. Slot 3 contains the 10/100/1000 Copper gigabit card that came with the server. Slot 4 is empty. Slots 5 and 6 contain Compaq fiber gigabit cards. The server BIOS is at P27 v. 4.00 (7/31/02). The onboard Smart Array controller firmware was flashed from v1.80 to v1.92. The lights out mgmt hardware was flashed to v1.15.

We are experience a condition now where the keyboard does not work. The only solution we can figure out is to pull out the power supplies let the server sit for about 30 seconds then put the power supplies back in and power up the server.

Anyone ever seen anything like this. Seems to be a firmware issue but Compaq says that the firmware levels we have should be OK.

Any input would be appreciated!!!

Thanks! Andy
