ML115 G5 / iLO 100c card with Ubuntu Server
Hi there
We have an HP ML115 G5 with an iLO 100c card fitted running Ubuntu server.
I can connect up to the graphical console fine using the iLO card, and the output is as expected as the server boots, however as soon as the kernel begins loading, the console output goes all strange and only parts of the screen are updated.
We have no problems with the iLO2 cards in the DL360G5s and DL380G4s we have.
I've tried a couple of different console resolutions under the grub boot options, but they don't make any difference, or give a completely black screen instead.
Has anyone got any solution for this?
Screenshot attached. You can see half the login prompt from the live console and half the final POST message!
