ML150 G3 SCSI BIOS not installed when adding two SATA drives
Hi,
I wanted to post/share if anyone has had any similar experience. Our HPML150 G3 runs Server 2003 using two SCSI disk controllers with four SCSI drives. I just added two SATA controllers and two Seagate SATA drives for additional storage and disk duplexing eventually. However, when the Seagate drives are connected to the SATA controllers, OS won't boot (SCSI BIOS not installed). It seems to want to setup RAID first on those SATA controllers. Not quite sure if the problem is within our server, controllers, or drives. Any help or suggetion is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
P.S. This thread has been moved from Disk to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL). -HP Forum Moderator
