ML350 G5 Hot Swap Drive

We have a disk from a failed array that needs data retrieved from it.  The server is up and running with new disks and raid configuration.  There are 2 empty bays, can we put the good drive from the previous array in the hot swap and have it recognized in the current OS just to retrieve data?

What RAID level was that old array?  You may not be able to get anything off unless you have all of the old disks.

Raid 1+0 with only 2 disks.
