ML350p Gen8 System Power Fault Detected (XR: 24 00 MID: FF 4D...)
Hi, ML350p Gen8 won't start anymore than a few sec
IML says:
"System Power Fault Detected (XR: 24 00 MID: FF 4D DE FF EA FF FF 4D 4D 0C 0C 08 8C 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)"
Changed both power supplies, clear CMOS, start with bare minimum parts, removed SAS backplate still have the problem.
Can someone confirm that I have to change my MB ? Cause it's expensive

Re: ML350p Gen8 System Power Fault Detected (XR: 24 00 MID: FF 4D...)
Hi,
Good that you have done most of the troubleshooting. Here are some more steps you could try.
Have you tried updating the system BIOS?
Have you tried swapping the processor before thinking of replacing the system board?

Thanks

Re: ML350p Gen8 System Power Fault Detected (XR: 24 00 MID: FF 4D...)
Hello,
The BIOS is fully upgraded
Unfortunately I can't test with another processor as I don't have another right now
Is it possible to decode the code in IML?
This morning:
System Power Fault Detected (XR: 14 00 MID: FF 4D DE FF EA FF FF 4D 4D 0C 0C 08 9C 00 00 01 07 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)
