ML370 G4 Memory upgrade
I have just attempted to upgrade my memory in my ML370 G4 server and the server will not boot. It just has a loud and long beep, silence for a few seconds and then long and loud beep again. I repleaced 8 GB of PC2-3200R DDR2-400 Registered ECC (8 x 1GB) with 16 GB of PC2-5300 DDR2-667 Registered ECC(8 x 2GB). I just found a document that looks like PC2-3200 may be the highest supported on this server. Is that the case? Is there anything I can do with this memory to use in this server?
