NIC Team not initializing on boot
All,
I have a DL380G5 configured for teaming
2x NC360T Nextwork Adapters connected to a CIsco Switch with LACP enabled
The problem i have is whenever the servers is rebooted the Teaming doesn#t come back on line and it says it's aquiring a network address although the IP is static.
Has anyone seem this problem before?
Karim

Re: NIC Team not initializing on boot
I´ve seen this issue before, is there any specific reason for using LACP? You can use a SLB team instead, on the switch side it requires an static channel instead of LACP (Cisco Mode On vs Mode Active), at the server level you will get the same 2GB tx/rx. The issue seems to be timing issue with tcp/ip stack and the driver, Im not aware of a solution yet.
