Old Compaq ProLiant ML370 HDD problems.

Old Compaq ProLiant ML370 HDD problems.

We have one old Compaq ProLiant ML370 which was purchased in year 2000.

1. It is using Ultra3 SCSI 18.2G HDD now. Can it be plug to use with Ultra320 SCSI 146.8GB?

2. It is using four 18.2G HDD using SmartArray3200 with Raid 5 mode. But the disk space is not enough.

Can I use ghost image method to change larger HDD?

Use Ghost > partition to image. Then change whole HDD group to four 36.4GB HDD. And Use Ghost to restore partition from Image without reinstall OS system.

Thanks much.

Server should work with U320 146.8GB SCSI HDD, but you can't restore the ghost image in to your new HDD's. If you restore the image it will not work
