Hi. I'm trying to find a two port USB 2.0 PCI card that will work in my DL320 (G2) server. I understand that I need a 3.3v 66mhtz/32bit card but cannot find ANY USB PCI cards on the market that support that PCI standard. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Solution
hi
you can use ANY pci card that has a 3 volt keyed connector.
the bus will automatically slow down to 33 mhz. and you can install any 32-bit card in a 64-bit slot.
pci is BACK-AND-FORWARD compatible. just make sure the card fits into your slot. there should be a notch 1,5 centimeters from the external side. 5 volt keyed cards have a notch close to the inner end of the connector. universal cards have two notches (and 64-bit cards may have 3).
believe me - if you can stick the card into the slot, it will run fine after vthe driver has been installed.
best regards from germany
ernesto
ps: i have installed many 33 mhz 32-bit cards in faster slots (my proliants have 100 mhz slots) - mostly NICS. no problem so far.
