Power Fault Detected in Hot Plug PCI Slot2 of Proliant ML570R Server
Hi All,
We are getting Power Fault in Hot Plug PCI Slot2 of Proliant ML570R Server (S/N:HAVYMG2245), when we up the server with Compaq Smart Array 6404/256 Controller. Other Slot 1, 3, 4 is OK.
Could any one help me to solve the Problem?
Thanks

Re: Power Fault Detected in Hot Plug PCI Slot2 of Proliant ML570R Server
Hello,
This could be a problem with the slot, the controller module or a driver. Have you tried reseating the controller? Have you tried installing the module in a different slot?
If it works in another slot then obviously there is a problem with the slot and the system board would have to be replaced. If it still does not work in another slot then most likely it the controller itself.
What is the combination of LED's?
Hope this helps.
