Hello,
We have a ProLiant DL380 G3 with 1 CPU but after to add a 2nd CPU windows 2000 server we configured there only sees 1st one.
Do you have any idea why Windows doesn't see 2 CPUs? Should we perform any task/patch on Windows?
Note that when we restarted Windows server Bios detects both CPUs.
Thanks in advance!

Solution
Carles,
Goto the control panel and then to system, open up Device Manager. Expand the sub-item label "computer". There it will probably read something like Uniprocessor PC. You need to double click on this item and select the driver tab. Then select the Update driver button and select "display a list of known drivers for this device..."
Then you will be presented with an option for Multiprocessor PC, select this and click next. You will be prompted/forced to reboot the system. Once you do so you should be good to go.
