It is a big looking puppy with six SCSI disks.
What seems to be missing is the utility for managing the RAID array.
The current configuration has five disks configured with one hot spare. I'd like to change that. The current owners of the server are not sure where the proper CD is located.
Is this downloadable and if so, where might I find it. If not, how do I obtain a replacement cd.

Re: Proliant 3000 RAID CD missing
It took me a lot longer to earn my first solution.
I'm assuming I write this utility to a CD and execute it.

Re: Proliant 3000 RAID CD missing
If you want ACU (Array Configuration Utility) to run from a CD, you'll have to get your hands on a SmartStart CD but only if the version is lower than 6.x otherwise it'll not support your server (so f.i. 5.50).
Also, make sure that the version of ACU supports your Smart Array controller which you did not mention in your request.
You can try this floppy based W32-bit version, ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp14001-14500/sp14286.exe but is still needs an OS to run in (maybe you have a bootable CD?).

Re: Proliant 3000 RAID CD missing
I've been busy erasing a HP-9000 server so I have not laid hands on the Proliant in a few days.
I plan to make a CD. Boot off floppy and then execute the exe. Hopefully that will work
