Proliant 5500 Windows Server 2K hangs during setup.

I am trying to install Windows Server 2000 on a Proliant 5500, I have booted off Smart Start and configured the single drive,( there is NO RAID controller). it gets passed decompressing the windows files and installing them and its during the final reboot after setup it hangs on the windows logo screen. I have updated the Rompaq.

Could anyone make a suggestion what to try next?

Craig:

Are you performing an "assisted" install of Win2K? If not, check your system configuration (F10 at boot) to see if you have your ACPI disabled.

What version of SmartStart are you using? Try using 5.20 or later on this server if you have it.
Enjoy!
