Proliant DL 140 G3 / 3-rd party KVM switch issue

Hi guys,
I have connected my new ML 140G3 to my new 8-port KVM switch Edimax EK-08RE and found the keyboard and mouse is not working. It seems to be a BIOS issue because I don't have access to system setup as well. Direct connected keyboard+mouse works fine. Edimax technical support recommended me to contact HP. HP service sent me the original HP KVM switch for test - it worked ! I tested also another third party switches. It seems that no one works with this server except the original HP. Then I updated server firmware - no change.
My other Proliant servers in the same rack (ML 370G4, DL 320G4) work fine with any KVM switches.

Did anybody meet the similar issue ?

Any idea would be appreciated.

Hi Zdenek,

It sounds like a similar firmware issue with the HP Lights-Out 100 ILO module as others have experienced.

Please see this previous forum link and check your current LO100 firmware version to see if it is V2.12A, then downgrade to V2.11.
