Running SPP Version 2014.02.0 on Server Core
Hi Everyone,
I try to run hpsum.bat on SPP 2014.02.0 but receive the following error:
C:\Admin\SPPMDSLWIN2014020.2014_0129.3\hp\swpackages>hpsum
Launching default web browser to HP SUM login URL:
http://localhost:63001/index.html?session_id=s1931402221404&lang=en
Recommended minimum browsers: Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 18, Chrome 24
Waiting for engine to be shutdown...
HPsum used to be a 7MB executable and would execute on Server Core.
Now it's .bat file and I cannot run given the above.
Please advise.

Re: Running SPP Version 2014.02.0 on Server Core
You must run hpsum.exe not .bat

Re: Running SPP Version 2014.02.0 on Server Core
hpsum.exe is no longer an option on this new version
For server core installations, you have to rely on another server/laptop, temporary disable the firewall or create rule expcetions for hpsum and access viw browser ....
It is kind of a PITA .. Go to this thread and click me too (maybe someone at HP puts someone on this) ...
