Hi,
Below is the configuration details from HP ProLiant DL320e Generation 8 (Gen8) v2 Server, its showing SATA Speed of 6Gb/s SATA Links, does it means each disk will have 6Gb/s speed individualy or it will have 6Gb/s divided by 6 ie. 1Gb/s?

Re: SATA Speed of 6Gb/s SATA Links
Greetings!
Mevalal,
HP Dynamic Smart Array B120i Controller has the following performance with regards to drive speed:
- 6Gb/s - in 2LFF and 4SFF only with port 0 & 1 installed;
- 3Gb/s - in 4SFF with more than 2 drives installed.
- For full 6 Gb.0/s speed a stand up card/smart array controller must be used.
Also please NOTE: B120i supports RAID 0/1/10 only. It does not have FBWC support so cannot support advanced RAID (5 onwards). For FBWC, a standup Smart Array Controller card must be configured.
I hope you find this information helpful!
Regards,
Renji V
