Hi everyone,
I have two very similar PL ML 150 Gen9 Servers (except RAM one has 40 the other one 32). Both oh them have a P440 Smart Array with 8 Bay SFF. One of the servers has a problem with Bios and iLO Firmware ( see my other Thread).
Now my idea is to take all drives from the one array and swap them to the other.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't do it that way?
Thanks for your help

SolutionHi,
no Problem at all.
I ´have done this.
It's the same, as your Controller/Mainboard is replaced by Warranty.
Possible Issues:
- If the new Controller has older Firmware, then the existing (Firmware Update)
- Windows discovers new Hardware
- Got new MAC & WWN Adresses
