Upgrading/ Installink Win2k
I have been trying to install Windows 2000 on a Proliant 800 for some time now. I have tried upgrading from NT 4.0 and I have wiped the drive and tried clean installs. When I load the 2000 setup disk the installation program starts but when it asks if I want to install or repair a previous installation ( I select install) The setup program says that the hard drive is either new or has been erased or has an operating system that is incompatible with Windows 2000. When I select c to continue the program indicates that it cannot access the disk. When I hit enter the computer blue screens with an inaccessible boot disk error. I have used primer.exe before attempting to install 2000 and I have selected to install scsi drivers by pressing F6. What's going wrong?

Re: Upgrading/ Installink Win2k
what scsi drivers are you using when pressing F6? the ones you need are on disk 2 of the set created by sp14437.exe
