adding a hard dirve
I am trying to add another drive to my box and it simply woun't see it. The drive has been formatted and is empty. I am new to this kind of install. What do I need to do? Change the bios? I have tried going though win98's add hardware screens but nothing works.
Appreicate the help... Thank you :)

Re: adding a hard dirve
Hi is the drive showing on post with the proper unique id. Then if you do not have an array controller you can run the SCU utility and follow up all the way to the view and edit detail to check verify the drives. Also if you do have array controller you need to run the ACU (array configuration utility) off the latest smart start cd. Hope this will help
