drivers for nc7781 NIC
Server: Proliant DL380
OS: Win 2k
I recently applied all service patches and fixes from the Microsoft web site.
One of the last things I did was apply an optional upgrade to HP drivers.
After applying this fix, the server blue screened. On restarting the machine, the dual Gb NIC team would no longer operate as a team and repeated attempts to recreate the team have failed.
I'm trying to find the drivers for the on board NC7781 GB NICs so that I can reinstall the drivers.
Are there any other reasons why a team would fail and then recreating the team fail?

Re: drivers for nc7781 NIC
Hi Jerry,
Thanks for the info. I've downloaded the drivers but no joy.
Next up is reinstalling the teaming software.
Does anyone know where I can find that?
Thanks for your help
Jon

Re: drivers for nc7781 NIC
You first have to uninstall teaming service and NIC driver, then install driver:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22189.html
and after that install teaming service:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22611.html
good luck,
Andrzej
