error messege installing Dual-Channel Ultra320 SCSI HBA and HP Storageworks DAT40

I have installed an external DAT40 drive(C5687C) using the Dual-Channel Ultra320 SCSI HBA (268351-B21) on a HP Proliant DL360 G3 server. After rebooting I checked the eventviewer and recieved the following errors 1. The device, \Device\Scsi\Symmpi1, did not respond within the timeout period.
I ran the diagnostic tools and everything seemed ok but after a while the server looses connection. After rebooting the server takes a long time to reboot and does not detect the devices.
