how to boot a redundant disk
on a ML350G3 with 2 x 72Gb HDD in RAID1.
After a massive power failure, the system had a problem rebooting. It would hang at the Windows 2000 Server boot screen and would not finish booting. I removed one drive and restarted. The system would go through the boot but could not find a system disk. I then put the other drive back and it would still not find a system disk. The Smart Array 6 could see two logical drives but it appears that the boot sector has gone, or the patition. I then installed another SCSI drive, installed windows 2000 server, installed all the drivers for the raid array.
this installation can see two drives but does not see them as patitioned or formatted. Is there any way to get the system back up and running without having to do a complete rebuild and recover from tape?
