ml350 no hard disk found

Hi,

I recently upgraded my proliant ml350 g3 server to win2k3 from winnt4 for testing purposes.

Now i would like to install back winnt and get rid of win2k3.The problem is when i boot from the winnt cd, it loads all the drivers, then there is an error saying no hard disk drives were detected.

I tried installing additional scsi drivers but the same problem occurs.

Hope you guys can help..

Thanks

Peter

Re: ml350 no hard disk found

HI,

THE SERVER IS SHIPPED WITH
Model dependent:

* Integrated Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Ultra160/320 Controller
* Smart Array 641 PCI-X controller (3.06GHz models) or
* Smart Array 532 PCI array controller installed on Array models (older models)

Which one we are using or check the driver again from site to do manuual installation

Hi Peter,

you need to press F6 when you first see the blue background for NT setup.
Get the driver and exact instructions here:
