power supply for Proliant ML330 G3
Hello all, I need to replace the power supply of the company server, a Proliant ML330 G3. It started to fail the last weekend and we can't find the original part because it's now discontinued. We have no significant things connected to the server power supply... just 1 CPU, 1 CD-ROM, 1 hard disk, 1 NIC, 4 RAM's and, of course, the motherboard.
Which power supply can I purchase to it? which one do you recommend me?
Thanks

Re: power supply for Proliant ML330 G3
Hello,
Were you trying to obtain a replacement using the Compaq/HP spare part number for the power supply? This is 324714-001.
If you try Google with this part number you may have some luck locating one.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=324714-001
The ML330 G2 power supply might also work. This is part number 216108-001. I'm not 100% sure if the system board socket connections are identical however.
A normal ATX power supply won't have enough pins for the two sockets on the system board.
I hope this helps.
