problem about booting a DL580 G3
dear all,
when i boot a DL580 first time, it appears soon on the monitor that:" Fatal Express Port Error" before the self-test procedure. could you please tell me what's wrong with the computer, are there some hardware failure?

I would say that the PCI-Express slot is faulty.
They are provided by the PCI Express Mezzanine Option. There are two types available:
PCI Express X4 Mezzanine Option [377522-B21]
PCI Express X8 Mezzanine Option [389876-B21]
Depending which one you have installed in your server, you will probably need to replace it with the equivalent.
Initially though just try to refit firmly this mezzanine card.
